Amany AbdEl-Wahid was arrested in Cairo and forcibly disappeared for a period before appearing before the prosecution on November 28, 2019. She was accused of participating in a terrorist group to achieve its goals, broadcasting and spreading false news, misusing social media, and participating in a demonstration without a permit, under case No. 1413 for 2019. The Public Prosecution ordered her imprisonment under investigations.
