Amr Khalid was arrested as a minor on 2014/6/24 from Abdessalam Al-Shazly Street in Damanhour and charged with joining a banned group, promoting its activities and writing offensive language on the walls. He was detained pending investigation and acquitted by the Juvenile Court on December 31, 2015. He was also acquitted on December 5, 2016 under case No. 2285 of 2015, Central Damanhour. He was arrested again on November 19, 2017 while walking down a street in Damanhour, was forcibly disappeared for a while and then appeared and was detained pending investigation. – Violations: – Severe torture in the Police Station of Damanhour and held in solitary confinement 15 days – he and his colleagues in the Security teams camo in Damanhour suffered medical negligence and spread diseases (scabies and bed sores) as a result of poor ventilation, overcrowding, and lack of exercise – enforced disappearance for a period in November 2017.
