Anas Gamal was arrested in Port Said on October 6th, 2013 behind joining a demonstration in front of Farma Park. He was detained on remand, then released. He was sentenced to prison in absentia. On September 17th, 2014, he was rearrested arbitrarily in Leningrad City Square, while he was still a minor. He was detained on remand for assembly, demonstration, joining a terrorist group, membership in Ultras Rabaoui and possession of two masks.
He was subject to:
– Intransigence in visitations.
– Deprivation of medicine entry.
– Detention with adult defendants regardless of his age.
– Systematic torture.
