Doaa Ismail was arrested amidst the events of September 20 and forcibly disappeared before appearing in front of the prosecution under case No. 1338 of 2019, Supreme State Security . She was charged with the participation in a terrorist group to achieve its objectives, broadcasting and publishing false news, misuse of social media, and participating in a demonstration without a permit. She was imprisoned under investigations and her imprisonment is still being renewed. She was released on parole on 10 October 2019. Violations she was subjected to: enforced disappearance for days.
