Ehab Ragab was arbitrarily arrested in Abou Sulayman street, known for Alhajja Zainab murder in Alexandria, amidst El Raml Second events, El Soyof on January 3rd, 2014. He was imprisoned under case No. 76 of 2014, administrative, registered under No. 19606 of 2014 El Raml Second felonies and registered under total No. 3018 of 2014 East Alexandria. He was accused for joining an illegally formed group, demonstration without permit, assembly, murder of “Zainab Saad Abd El Hamid”, obstruction of traffic, possession of “catridges and explosives”, destruction of public property, and show of force and signaling violence. He was charged with new crimes in his detention under case No. 22850 of 2014 Al Atareen felonies, registered under total No. 4145 East and known as Altarhila. On June 14th, 2016, the Criminal Court: branch No. 6 Alexandria felonies sentenced him to 3-year prison, 3-year probation and 100-thousand L.E.. Under case No. 22850 of 2014 Al-Atareen felonies, registered under total No. 4145 East and known in the media as “Al-Tarhila” case, he was sentenced for 2-year prison with labor on 17/03/2016.
