Eman Mahfouz’s house was raided and she was arrested on October 2, 2018. She was taken to an unknown location and remained under enforced disappearance until she appeared on February 1, 2019 before the State Security Prosecution and was investigated under case 277 of 2019, Supreme State Security . The prosecution ordered her imprisonment under investigations. She was transferred to Al-Qanater prison and her imprisonement is still renewed. – Violations she was subjected to: – Enforced disappearance for months and detention at the State Security headquarters in Sheikh Zayed, during which she was beaten and tortured – prevented from visiting and other means of communication for months starting from the Corona crisis.
