Fady Mohamedwas arbitrarily arrested as a minor on December 27, 2013 from the Sidi Besher area of Alexandria, and charged with demonstrating without permit and assembly under case No. 210 of 2014, juvenile misdemeanours. He was detained pending investigations. The Child Misdemeanours Court granted him bail of 5,000 pounds on April 2, 2014 and suspended the claims until the adjudication of adult claims. He was subsequently sentenced to five years in prison in absentia on February 19, 2015.
