Fakiha Rashid was arrested in Giza governorate amidst the events of September 20, 2019 and forcibly disappeared until she appeared before the prosecution on October 2, 2019, under case No. 1338 of 2019, Supreme State Security . She was charged with the participating in a terrorist group in achieving its objectives, broadcasting and disseminating false news, misuse of communication means social media, and participating in a demonstration without a permit. She was imprisoned under investigations. She was released on 13 October 2019. Violations she was subjected to: enforced disappearance for days.
