Fatima Mohamed was arrested on November 24, 2017 from Cairo airport after investigations revealed that the Media Committee of the Muslim Brotherhood inside Egypt had resorted to it to provide the channel “Mukmalin” with recorded film material, and fabricated surveys, in exchange for remittances from the offices and intermediaries. She was presented before the prosecution the following day, which ordered her detention under case No. 977 of 2017, Supreme State Security . She was transferred to Al-Qanater prison and continually renewed until she was released on August 7, 2018. – Violations: – she suffers from a reflux valve of the heart, and her health deteriorated – she was unlawfully detained following the decision to release her, as she was released on August 18, 2018.
