Fouad Hossam was arrested as a minor and forcibly disappeared for a period before appearing before the prosecution in March 2016. He was charged under case No. 357 of 2016 military crimes, known in the media as the “Sinai State” case. The prosecution ordered his detention pending investigation. On August 2, 2017, the Military Prosecutor decided to exclude all minors from the case and re-transfer them to the Public Prosecutor’s Office under case 502 for 2015. He was released on precautionary measures on 19 April 2018, and the measures were cancelled on 1 December 2019. – Violations: – enforced disappearance for a period – detention with adults.
