She was arrested on Monday, September 18, 2023, by National Security from her home, and then deported to Sherbin Police Station, then to National Security in Mansoura before being deported to the State Security Prosecution in Cairo. This happened due to her posts on Facebook supporting the potential presidential candidate Ahmed Tantawi. She denied it and admitted during investigations that her account was stolen and she hadn’t made those posts. She originally supports President Abdel Fattah and advocates for him.
