Ibrahim Ashraf was arrested as a minor from a police residence during an arbitrary arrest campaign in Fayoum on April 25, 2016, He was presented before the prosecution under the case No.15231, Al-Fayoum first misdemeanour. He was charged with joining to the Muslim Brotherhood, participating in demonstrations to demand the return of Morsi and the release of detainees, obstructing the road, firing gunshots to terrorize citizens, and disruption of the constitution. He was released on bail of 1,000 pounds on 27 April 2016 and acquitted on 13 June 2016.
