Imamah Gharib and others were arrested on October 6, 2013 during the 6th of October demonstrations in the Ramesses area and the courthouse, and they were taken to the Azbakeya department. Charges were brought against her for show of force, using violence, disrupting the subway at the Al Shahada station, possession of weapons and ammunition without a license, and belonging to a terrorist organization. She was imprisoned under investigations. She was released on bail of 5 thousand pounds on November 14, 2013.
