Security forces arrested Khadija Ismail and others following a demonstration in the vicinity of the Al-Salam Mosque on December 27, 2013. She was presented before the prosecution and investigated in the case no. 60310 of 2013, First Nasr City Misdemeanors. She was charged with rioting, vandalism, blocking roads, assaulting police officers, resisting the authorities, demonstrating without the permission of the Ministry of Defence, joining an armed terrorist gang aimed at destroying peace and public security, destroying public and private property and possessing flammable incendiary materials like Molotov cocktails.
