Magda Awad was arrested on September 24, 2019 from downtown Cairo governorate and forcibly disappeared until she appeared before the prosecution on October 2, 2019, under case No. 1338 of 2019, Supreme State Security . A decision was issued to imprison her under investigations. She was released on parole on 24 October 2019. Violations to which she was subjected: enforced disappearance for several days.
