Mazen Mohamed was arrested in his house in Cairo on September 30th, 2015. He was taken to an unknown place and disappeared for 10 days until he appeared before the prosecution on October 10th, 2015. He was detained on remand and was released on January 31st, 2016. He was subject to:
– Enforced disappearance for 10 days in Nasr City First and Second Station.
– Beating with a baton and electrocution.
– Rape and humiliation through inserting a wooden stick for multiple times in his bottom.
– Genital electrocution.
