Mohamed Abd El-Salam was arrested in a security raid in Al Buhaira on November 20th, 2015. He was detained on remand for joining an illegally formed group and demonstration. He was sentenced to prison. He appealed and was acquitted on May 8th, 2016. He was rearrested in the street while heading to his house on July 6th, 2016 He was detained for affiliation and demonstration. He was released later and was acquitted on March 29th, 2017. He was arrested another time (while No.longer a minor) in March 2019. He was detained on remand until he was released on November 1st, 2020. He was subject to:
-Torture and electrocuion.
– Medical negligence in 2016 as his condition worsened and he was unable to walk. He was examined by a neurologist in Kafr El Dawar hospital. He was required to do a neuroimaging in a private hospital because of its absence in the governmental hospital, which requires other slow procedures.
