Muhammad El Qurashi was arrested against the background of his appearance in a video entitled (Shake Dabbous) with the participation of three others on Facebook. The aim of the video was to raise awareness about kidnappings. But, the journalist Lamis El Hadidi stated in her program that this act constitutes panic and fear for people and demanded to arrest them. He was brought before the Public Prosecution Office on June 29, 2022 and imprisoned in case No. 1173 of 2022.
