Mohamed Ehab Desoki Fouad

Mohamed Ehab, a minor, was arrested with others on January 25, 2014, from downtown during the third anniversary of the revolution. He was presented to the prosecution in the case no. 291 of 2014, administrative Abedin, registered under number 12096 for the year 2014 crimes Abedin and no. 1561 for the year 2014 Total in central Cairo, and known in the media as “Downtown Grievances.” He was charged with assembly, demonstrating without permit, show of force and signaling violence, the deliberate murder of 5 people (Atta Shaaban, Sayed Abdullah Mohammed “Waza”, Amr Awad Sayed, Mahmoud Yassin Abdel Alim, Mahmoud Metuli Sayed), attempted murder of others, and the possession of firearms, ammunition, explosives and materials used in the attack. The prosecution ordered his detention pending investigation. He was granted bail of 10,000 pounds on February 12, 2014. The court sentenced him to one year in prison with work and police surveillance for one year and the confiscation of weapons and ammunition on February 26, 2017.
