Mohamed Hany was arrested as a minor from his home in Nahea, Kardasa, on August 4, 2015, amidst the events on the first day of Eid in Nahaya. He was charged with joining a terrorist group, possessing explosives and weapons, participating in demonstrations, violating the law of demonstration suppon and resisting the authorities. He was released on bail of 5,000 pounds on August 5, 2015.
