Mohamed Saad was arrested as a minor from Al-Arbaeen square in Suez on September 20, 2019 amidst September 20 events. He was forcibly disappeared until he appeared before the prosecution on September 22, 2019 under the case No. 1338 for 2019, Supreme State Security . He was charged with participating in a terrorist group in achieving its purposes, publishment of false news, abusing social media, and participating in a demonstration without a permit. The prosecution ordered his detention pending investigations. He was released on October 30, 2019.
