Mohamed Yasser Salah El-Din

Mohamed Yasser was arrested as a minor from his home in the village of Sufism in Eastern Province on September 8, 2015 and charged under case No. 1 of 2016, Ahdath Awlad Saqr. He was charged with inciting demonstrations against the state. He was detained pending investigations. He was sentenced to 24 years in prison on May 30, 2016, and then it was amended to five years in prison. – Violations he was subjected to: – He went on a hunger strike in April 2017 because of the refusal of the Wadi Al-Natroun prison administration to allow the entry of his textbooks inside the prison, as he was supposed to perform his exams within about a month.
