Mona Ahmed was arrested in Ramses on March 1, 2019. She remained forcibly disappeared in state security in Al-Muqattam, and then in Muqattam station until her appearance on March 9, 2019 before the prosecution under case No. 488 of 2019, Supreme State Security . She was charged with participation in an activity of a terrorist group, using social media sites to promote the group’s ideas, and spreading false news. Her detention was renewed until she was released on September 10, 2019 with precautionary measures that were cancelled on March 2, 2020. – Violations she was subjected to: Enforced disappearance for more than a week, during which she was beaten and electrocuted.
