Nouran Mahmoud was arrested on November 11th, 2022, near Abdel Moneim Riyad Square, after Friday prayers, because she wanted to participate in the November 11 demonstrations in Tahrir Square. She was taken blindfolded to Qasr El Nil Police Station and she remained there for two hours. Later, she was taken to an unknown place, after her detention was ordered by the competent authorities until she was presented before the Public Prosecution on November 21st, 2022.
