Omar Mohamed was arrested on October 3rd, 2016. He was detained on remand for demonstration without permit. On April 20th, 2017, he was released. He was rearrested in his sister’s house in Cairo (While still a minor) on November 26th, 2017. He forcibly disappeared for 11 days to appear before Shubra prosecution on December 7th, 2017.
