Omnia Ahmed’s house was raided and she was arrested on June 16, 2019. She was taken to an unknown destination where she remained under enforced disappearance until she appeared on July 3, 2019 under case No. 148 of 2017, Supreme State Security . A decision was issued for her imprisonment. She was released with precautionary measures on February 27, 2020, but the decision to release her was not implemented and she was rotated to another case, case No. 2775 for 2020 First Al Salam Misdemeanors. This case was presented to her on April 16, 2020 and was returned early. She was imprisoned for 4 days until she was released with precautionary measures on July 29, 2020. However, she is still imprisoned. – Violations she was subjected to: – enforced disappearance for more than two weeks – intransigence in releasing her and then attaching her to a new case – deterioration of her health in her detention in the Al Salam department where she suffers from chest issues and high temperature as a result of poor conditions of detention and medical neglect.
