Osama Arafa was arrested amidst Ramses First, El-Azbakeya Cairo, on July 15th, 2013. He was detained under case No. 7793 of 2013 Al-Azbakeya. He was accused of attempted murder, destruction of public property, raid on Al-Azbakeya station, possession of firearms, weapons, Molotov and ammunition, assembly, vandalism and obstruction of traffic. He was acquitted on February 2nd, 2014.
