Osama Mohamed Saeed

Osama Mohamed was arrested as a minor on June 6, 2014 during the events of the first Ramal. He was presented to the prosecution under case No. 737 of 2014, child misdemeanours where he was charged with joining a group established contrary to the provisions of the law, demonstrating without permit, assembly, disrupting traffic, chanting anti-army and police slogans, and possessing inflammatory publications, bladed weapons and incendiary materials. The prosecution ordered his detention pending investigations. On 26 November 2014, he was sentenced to three years in prison in absentia. He appealed the verdict and was acquitted on 27 December 2014.
