Rabab Hamdy was arrested on January 23, 2015 during security campaigns in the village of Abu Raqba in Manoufia, under case No. 1490 of 2015, Ashmun Administration. She was accused of belonging to a terrorist group, demonstrating without permit, assembly, and possessing explosives.
