Rasha Mohamed and others were arrested on May 27, 2014. Security forces said that they were arrested while trying to throw molotov cocktails at one of the electoral committees on Ahmed Fakhri Street next to the Ahli Club, and trying to intimidate citizens and disrupt the presidential election process. They were taken to the first section of Nasr City. She was presented before the prosecution under case 24057 for 2014, First Nasr City Misdemeanor. She was released on bail of 2,000 pounds the following day. She was fined 10,000 pounds on 18 September 2014.
