The Daqhilia security forces arrested Rasha Samir with two women while they were riding in a tuktuk on the Bella-Kafr Al-Sheikh road on November 30, 2017. They were taken to the Bella section, and report no. 6885 for 2017, Bella Center Administration, was issued. She was accused of joining a banned group. The prosecution ordered her imprisonment pending investigations. She was sentenced to three years in prison. The sentence was commuted to six months in prison and she was released on 1 June 2018 after serving her sentence.
