Reman Mohamed was arrested on May 10th, 2018, while she was driving her car in the Agouza area. She was taken to the National Security headquarters in the Sheikh Zayed area, where she was forcibly disappeared for 25 days. She was presented before the prosecution on June 3rd, 2018, and imprisoned in Case No. 817 of 2018. She remained for two years in pretrial detention, then a decision was issued to release her because her pretrial detention exceeded the legal period, but the decision was not implemented and she was forcibly disappeared again and rotated in a new case No. 730 of 2020 Supreme State Security. A decision was issued to release her on September 8th, 2022 in Case No. 730 of 2022.
Violations she was subjected to:
– Enforced disappearance for 25 days, during which she was subjected to a number of violations, including electric shocks, in order to force her to confess.
-Interrogate her without the presence of a lawyer.
– Her pre-trial detention exceeded two years.
-Enforced disappearance for 28 days after issuing a decision to release her and rotating her in a new case.
