Safa Ahmed was arbitrarily arrested on September 27, 2019, from the street in Qalyubia governorate, amidst the events of September 20, and she was forcibly disappeared until she appeared before the prosecution on September 29, 2019 under case No. 1338 of 2019, Supreme State Security . She was charged with participating in a terrorist group to achieve its objectives, broadcasting and publishing false news, misuse of social media, and participation in a demonstration without a permit. She was imprisoned under investigations. Violations to which she was subjected: enforced disappearance for two days.
