Salah El-Din Samy was arrested as a minor from the metro station of The College of Agriculture on October 6, 2013. He was charged with attempting to blow up the metro station of The College of Agriculture during the October victory celebrations, smashing the entrance gates, and firing shots at police forces and residents in Shubra al-Khaimah area. He was detained pending investigations. He was sentenced to three years in prison and three years probation on May 18, 2014.
