Sara Abdel Rahim was arrested on July 5, 2020, while visiting her family at the Institute of Trustees in Tora. After entering her phone, she was taken to the Maadi department, where she was presented before the prosecution under case No. 10154 of 2020 Maadi Misdemeanor. She was released on parole on a residence guarantee the following day.
