She was subjected to enforced disappearance and torture for two days until she appeared in the Supreme State Security Office of the Fifth assembly and was investigated under case No. 761 of 2016, Supreme State Security . She was imprisoned and transferred to Al Naqrat prison. her detention was continually renewed until she was released with precautionary measures on March 18, 2019, and the measures were cancelled in March 2020. – Violations she suffered: – she was subjected to enforced disappearance and torture, as she was tied up and threatened with rape, inanition to experiencing sexual harassment and psychological pressure practices. They also threatened to arrest her 9-year old son, Albara, and her 16-year old brother, Mohammed, and attach them to her case. She was forced to confess to charges she did not commit. – When she arrived in El Qanater prison, she contracted skin diseases as a result of a widespread infection in the cells, but her family was able to bring her treatment and her condition improved. She also showed symptoms of “yellow disease” and many other diseases as a result of medical negligence and lack of humanity for the detainees. She was afflicted with general weakness, constant back pain and low blood pressure. Even before her arrest, she had suffered from hypertension and inflammation of the nerves, as well as anemia since her childhood. She also suffered from kidney pain, and she later discovered the presence of sand granules on her kidneys, as a result of water mixing with sewage in the detention areas.
