Sherine Mohamed was arrested with her husband on May 26th, 2022 after documenting, via a live broadcast on “Facebook”, the harassment she was subjected to by an officer of the Ministry of Interior. The officer threatened to kill her because she was publishing on her social media account about the situation in the country. She was presented before the prosecution on May 28th, 2022 in Case No. 440 of 2022, and imprisoned pending investigations. She was released on September 12th, 2022.
