The security forces in the city of Kafr Saqr in Sharqia Province arrested Somaia Mohamed while she was in Kafr Saqr for her husband’s presentation before the prosecution on the morning of Wednesday, November 16, 2016. The officer prevented her from giving food and clothing to her detained husband, and when she said “God is sufficient,” she was arrested. They took her to the Police Station of Kafr Saqr. She was charged with insult, slander and assault of a police officer, during the record. She was presented to the prosecution, who decided to imprison her for 24 hours until the investigations. She was released on bail of 1,000 pounds on November 17, 2016.
