Yehia Saber was arrested as a minor during April 2015 from Fayoum and forcibly disappeared for more than 10 days. He then appeared under case No. 3055 for 2015 on charges of possession and use of explosives, and joining a terrorist group. He was detained pending investigation. He was granted bail on February 15, 2016, but then he was forcibly disappeared and appeared as a defendant in case 1448, Sanors administration. He was remanded in custody pending investigation. He was acquitted on March 4, 2018 under case No. 12358 for 2016. Violations he was subjected to: enforced disappearance for days – subjected to torture and electric shock during his disappearance – intransigence in his release, leading to his rotation under a new case.
