Younes Omar Salah

Younes Omar was arrested as a minor on January 23, 2015 under case No. 2992 of 2015, bandar al-Fayoum. He was charged with demonstrating and joining a group founded against the law. He was detained pending investigation and subsequently released. He was arrested again on April 24, 2015 from the house in al Fauym and forcibly disappeared for days, and then appeared under case No. 3055 for 2015, Fayoum administrative on charges of possession and use of explosives and membership in a terrorist group. He was detained pending investigation. He was granted bail on February 15, 2016, but he appeared as a defendant in a new protest case and was remanded in custody pending investigation. He was acquitted on March 4, 2018 under case No. 12358 for 2016, Al Fayum Crimes. Violations he was subjected to: enforced disappearance for days – subjected to torture and electric shock during his disappearance – intransigence in his release, which led to his rotaation under a new case.
