Youssef Abd El-Karimwas arrested as a minor amidst the events of September 20, 2019. He was forcibly disappeared until he appeared before the prosecution under case No. 1338 of 2019, Supreme State Security . He was charged with participating in a terrorist group in achieving its purposes, broadcasting and spreading false news, abusing social media, and participating in a demonstration without a permit. The prosecution ordered him to be detained pending investigation. He was released on October 15, 2019. Violations he was subjected to: enforced disappearance for days – prevented from visits.
