Youssef Mohamed was arrested as a minor from Alexandria on September 20, 2019 amidst September 20 events. He was forcibly disappeared until he appeared before the prosecution on September 25, 2019 under case No. 1338 of 2019, Supreme State Security . He was charged with joining a terrorist group to achieve its purposes, dissemination of false news, abuse of social media, and participating in a demonstration without a permit.
