Tasneem Hasan was arrested on March 2, 2020 in her house in Ismailia and forcibly disappeared for nearly two weeks until she appeared before the prosecution on March 17, 2020 under case No. 1530 of 2019 State Security. She was charged with joining and spreading false news. She is currently imprisoned in Qanater prison and is being renewed – violations she suffered: she was subjected to enforced disappearance for two weeks at the National Security Headquarters – prevented from visits and other means of communication for months starting with the Corona crisis.
