The security forces at the Al Matariya metro station arrested Eman Ahmed on November 28, 2014, and they took Eman to the Matariya Department. The security services said that she was entering the station in a speedy and suspicious manner with a black handbag with 3 notebooks inside. The notebooks had Rabaa slogans and anti-police and anti-military slogans in them. Her handbag also contained 4 badges, specially issued by the Terrorist Brotherhood, a medium-sized poster that said (Freedom is the origin of identity – uprising of Muslim youth), and a Nokia mobile phone containing pictures of Rabaa slogans and pictures offensive to the President, as well as a picture of her with terrorist ideology written on it. She was remanded in custody in Case No. 1927 for 2014, Minors Felony Events. She was charged with demonstrating and possession of a fourth slogan. She was sentenced to two years’ imprisonment on December 2, 2014, and acquitted on appeal on December 17, 2014.
