Heba Faiq was arrested at her father’s home in the village of Zenin in Bulaq al-Dakrour on December 17, 2017. She was taken to an unknown location and remained in enforced disappearance until she appeared on December 23, 2017, accused of joining and financing a group founded in violation of the law. Her detention was continually renewed until she was released on July 3, 2018. – Violations: – She was subjected to enforced disappearance for nearly a week, during which she was tortured, beaten severely, and even beaten into the wall until she bled from her mouth and head – she was prevented from visits, except from behind an iron door and for no more than two minutes.
