Eman Shama was arrested along with her baby girl from her mother’s home in Al-Qanatar al-Khairiya on May 28, 2014, on charges of filming the empty election committes and broadcasting it to al-Jazeera. She was detained pending investigation. She was released on bail of 20,000 pounds on June 4, 2014.
