Sohaib Emad Mohamed Mohamed Ibrahim

Security forces arrested Sohaib Emad as a minor in his house on February 11, 2014 and then took him to the second section of Mansoura to force him to confess to several charges, including possession of a firearm without a license and possession of tools used to assault persons (Molotov). He was then presented to the prosecution as a defendant in the case known in the media as “the case of terrorist cells in Mansoura,” number 6675 for the year 2014, the crimes of the second Mansoura section, registered under number 757 for the year 2014 Total South Mansoura. He was detained pending investigations. On September 8, 2016, he was sentenced to 3 years in prison. He was arrested again from his home on January 21, 2018 at the age of 19 – Violations: – he was beaten in front of his family during his arrest and the contents of the house were destroyed – taken to a second section of Mansoura where he was tortured to force him to confess – medical negligence, as he suffered a dislocated kneecap, which he had surgery on on October 1, 2014 at the University Hospital in Mansoura; he stayed a week after surgery before being sent back to the Ahdath Dakurns prison, without medical attention, which led to the worsening of his health; he is now suffering from arthritis and bone infections, erosion of the cartilage in the left leg, and rheumatism.
