Abdullah Raafat was arrested as a minor with his brother from the house in December 2015. He was forcibly disappeared for about five months until he appeared as a defendant under case No. 185 of 2016, crimes north of Cairo. He was detained pending investigation. On July 17, 2018, the military court acquitted him of two charges, possession of a weapon and use of force. But they lacked the jurisdiction to try him for the charge of joining a terrorist group, and so they referred him to the prosecution again. On April 9, 2019, he was released on bail of 5,000 pounds from Alexandria Misdemeanors. – Violations: – enforced disappearance for months.
