Mahmoud Salah was arrested as a minor on February 2, 2015, following the dispersal of the Mit Ghamar demonstrations, under case no. 1155 for 2015, Met Ghamar administration. He was charged with joining a group founded contrary to the provisions of the law, demonstrating without a permit, assembly, blocking a road, and chanting anti-army and police slogans. He was detained pending investigations.
