Amr Hamdy was arrested as a minor and forcibly disappeared before appearing before the prosecution of the First Mansoura Section on January 31, 2015 charged with destroying public peace, blocking the road, terrorizing citizens, vandalizing the Sandoub railway and joining a terrorist group. He was detained amidst case 108 for the year 2015, military crimes Mansoura, known in the media known as “Organization of Qualitative Operations in Daqahliya Province”. On November 15, 2016, the Military Criminal Court sentenced him to three years in prison.
